IT, a movie about a group of outcasted teenagers overcoming their fears and defeating Pennywise, was one of the best horror movies of 2017. Many critics found this movie to be creative, fun, and full of heart with many memorable and iconic scenes. Now it has returned with ITs sequel, IT Chapter 2, the final movie to end this horror movie franchise.
27 years after The Losers Club defeated Pennywise, the Losers return to Derry after learning that Pennywise hadn’t truly died at their last encounter. Whenever someone leaves Derry Pennywise makes them forget all the time they spent in Derry. Now adults, the Losers learned that in order to defeat Pennywise once and for all they must remember their childhood and work together to perform an ancient ritual.
IT Chapter 2 is full of creative visuals and imaginative scares that will leave you on the edge of your seat. The best parts of this movie is when the Losers show their true friendship with each other. My only issue with this movie was the overuse of CGI, trading the amazing practical effects from the first movie and replace it with CGI. Though many critics see this movie as unimaginative, I found this to be the perfect follow up to its predecessor. This movie to be amazing and visually creative and a great movie to watch with friends, 8.8\10
